The Art of Form and Code

That Was The Week That Was – 16th August 2020

I've always been a fan of mechanical keyboards, my absolute favorite being the Apple II extended. Yet it's a pain to use with modern systems and so about a year ago I invested in a WASD custom keyboard. It was beautiful. Loud, but beautiful.

However, the more I used it the more I couldn't escape a stark fact – my typing was worse. Way more typos, way more mistakes and frustration. So this week I finally decided to put aside my rose-tinted love of mechanical keyboards and go with something state-of-the-art in the form of the Logitech MX Keys for Mac. I have to say the build quality is exceptional and my typing has now got back to what it used to be, with less mistakes. This is my second MX product, having been using the mouse for a longtime. All of them great products.

As part of my ongoing Cryptoart adventures, I was very kindly asked to take part of a Behind the Screens interview on YouTube with MoCDA and KnownOrigin.

Work continued on the new Trend Micro piece. One part is very influenced by the work of Zaha Hadid.
