Over the years, many of the things I’ve made have been inspired by my ongoing love affair with film. From Cinema Redux to my current work with @gary_hustwit and the team for the Eno generative documentary, film has always been a fascination with me.

The first thing I did in this vein was back in 1998. Entitled Psycho Studio it allowed people to re-edit the infamous Psycho shower scene online and create their own version from the almost 100 edits of the original.

The commonality I think with all this work and maybe all my work is the idea of taking things that already exist — which Duchamp talks about as Ready Mades — and twist them into new forms.
