Had a wonderful time at the Sundance Film Festival Festival for the world premier of Eno – @gary_hustwit’s new film about artist, musician, producer @brianeno. For the last five years I’ve been working with Gary to create the generative software which drives the film so it is different on every screening, something that has never been done before.

The reaction to the film so far has been incredible with not only stellar reviews but also the conversations that have begun due to the unique approach in not only making the film but also watching it, so it’s a more performative experience.

Putting this project together was a huge team effort from all involved including the incredible editors @maya.tippett and @thevideokideo. You may read in some reviews the mention of A.I., but the system uses NO A.I. at all! At the core of the making of this film is the combination of highly skilled human beings – passionate about the craft of cinema – fused with a new generative software system. I believe it’s this that makes the approach so compelling, and of course the work of Brian Eno!
