That Was The Week That Was — 18th January 2026

Somehow I had managed to completely miss that a new version of Touch Designer was released in October last year, complete with a new operator family — the first in ten years — called POPs which stands for Point Operators. It allows for creating and manipulating particles and the like all on the GPU. This was now much more akin to Houdini, so this week I started to dig in and familiarise myself with this exciting new addition.
