This is a close-up of the cover of an experiment I'm doing, creating a book from git coding comments during the course of a project. Each mark is a commit to the code repository with days travelling vertically and hours travelling horizontally. The end result looks like a musical score, with moments of silence punctuated with activity. There's even what looks like a middle eight just before the last burst of activity.
