So here we go. Rough prototype NFC based physical music controller. Underworld currently playing then I pick Coltrane's Blue Train and place it on the reader and voila! Now I need to make it look pretty and add the other controls but the principle is working. I'll share how it's done once I get it finished.

Previously

Started on my weekend project, hardware controller for my Spotify raspberry PI based music player with NFC playlist selection. Right now I've got next and previous track buttons working and volume control. This is using an Arduino Yun to send json-rpc messages via Curl to the raspberry PI running PiMusicBox. Next is to rig up the NFC stuff so I can have a mechanism to select certain playlists. Much geeky fun!
