Popa

The big red button for your iPhone camera

Inspired by my Dad who was a professional sports photographer all his life, I invented Popa – the big red button for your iPhone camera.

After a successful campaign on Kickstarter, Popa was released to the world in November through the company I co-founded, Beep Industries.

hugely impressed with @thisispopa - simple, AWESOME product; lovely packaging; and great service + delivery! a rare commodity.

Today we got @thisispopa in the office. If you have an iPhone 4, buy one. Amazing.

I'm incredibly proud of Popa as there's a lot of me in there; as well as the original idea I also designed and built the accompanying iPhone app, the Popa website as well as designing the packaging and all the art direction and photography.

In May 2012 Beep Industries stopped trading and after selling several thousand units both online and in retails stores including The Conran Store and The V&A Design Museum Store, Popa stopped production. Popa is now consigned to history but i'm proud that at least it did exist for a short period of time.
